Are you interested in the UN system and global issues like international security, terrorism, migration, nuclear disarmament, human rights, humanitarian law and sustainable development? Do you like working in international teams? Would you like to attend a conference in the UN seat in Vienna? Do you enjoy challenges?

Then you might be interested in applying to take part in the Regional Academy on the United Nations (RAUN). The program is open for student enrolled in Master’s, or Ph.D., programs in the Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary and Slovakia. RAUN consists of three sessions taking place in Prague (May 2016), Bratislava (September 2016) and Vienna (January 2017). These sessions include lectures on current issues conducted by experts and government officials and visits to various institutions (Foreign Ministry, Parliament, IO missions etc.). During the program, students in international teams write research projects on interesting and current topics and afterwards they give a presentation on the outcome of the research at the conference at the UN in Vienna.
